So I read a lot of Creation material, you know the earth, universe, everything was created about 6000 years ago in just 6 days. Many people don’t care and some just don’t think it is important. I can understand that I when through some of those views myself. But as I moved closer to becoming a Christian I also questioned how evolution could possible be true. How indeed could this be with the fact that several times in scripture it states that GOD CREATED IN SIX DAYS. That seems straight forward to me and I had to question a view that did not fit this.

As I became a believer in Christ, or rather a follower of him, I also struggled with this. It was not long after this point in my life that I attended a Creation Seminar. It was in the early 1990’s and Ken Ham was one of the speakers. What they said made sense and the resources backed up what they had to say. Suddenly I realized I could believe in this 6 days 6000 years ago creation and not evolution.

Ever since I have worked to learn more about creation from a biblical viewpoint. I am always willing to check out speakers on this and read new material on this. There are many great organizations that cover this topic so today there is no shortage of material to read.

So in February there are churches that have compromised this viewpoint and celebrate “Evolution Sunday”. How sad that they would take man’s word over God’s word. To try to fit man’s science and a world view into the bible.

But there is also a group who sponsors “Creation Sunday“, this is a group trying to reinforce the view that the Bible is true and God’s word is true, that he created the world in 6 days about 6000 years ago.

So where do you stand, with God or with man? Trust and believe the word of GOD!
