It’s not a legal issue it’s a heart issue!  What’s that you say?  It’s the condition of our country.  Today the supreme court ruled that gay marriage should be legal in all 50 states.  This decision over ruled the will of the people in many states.  This decision flies in the face of moral law.

God defines marriage!  In Matthew 19:4-6 Jesus himself refers back to Genesis where God defined marriage.

The supreme court’s ruling does not change God’s definition of marriage, it may change how society views marriage but it will not change how God defines it.

Matthew 19:8  “Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.””

The supreme court may allow gay marriage but it was not that way from the beginning!

So it is a heart issue, a hardness of the hearts to the word of God.

So I pray for our country, for the moral depravity that is overtaking our society where sin is being called good and acceptable and MUST be tolerated no matter what your belief!  I pray for those who accept sin as good and pray they will come to know and understand the will of God.  His word is open to all.  His grace and salvation is offered to all, but we must believe in him, confess our sins, repent of our sins, be baptized, and peruse him with all our heart.
