Titus 3:8 NKJV\u00a0 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.<\/p>\n
Paul is writing to Titus, he has been exhorting him to be strong in the faith, to be an example to all.\u00a0 Then he throws in this “faithful saying”, “be careful to maintain good works”.<\/p>\n
Some would say; But Paul faith saves us!\u00a0 Yes but Paul is reminding Titus that with faith comes faithfulness to the one you have faith in.\u00a0 In other words SEEK opportunities for doing good works to show your faith.\u00a0 Lend the helping hand, offer the kind word, be the example for someone who needs it.\u00a0 Lift others up don’t drag them down.<\/p>\n
