\u201cFor by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.\u201d\u00a0 Ephesians 2:8<\/p>\n
Upon receipt of our gift, there is a deep desire to serve our God with thanksgiving.\u00a0\u00a0 He has equipped us with every tool we need to do so, and with all kinds of ways to serve.\u00a0 \u00a0It is an extension; an outgrowth of our faith in Christ.\u00a0 \u00a0James 2:14-20<\/p>\n
What are some actions you can take today? Here are just a few suggestions:<\/p>\n
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, \u201cAll authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go<\/strong> thereforeand make<\/strong> disciples of all the nations, baptizing<\/strong> them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching<\/strong> them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.\u201d Matthew 28:19-20<\/p>\n \u201cAnd how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: \u2018How beautiful are the feet<\/span> of those who preach<\/span> the gospel of peace, Who bring<\/strong> glad tidings of good things!\u2019\u201d Romans 10:15<\/p>\n \u201cDo<\/strong> all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.\u201d Philippians 2:14-16<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever you do<\/strong>, work<\/strong> at it with all your heart, as working<\/strong> for the Lord, not for men.\u201d Colossians 3:23<\/p>\n And of course the greatest is Jesus\u2019 command:<\/p>\n Jesus said to him, \u201c\u2018You shall love<\/strong> the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.\u2019 This is the first and great commandment.
