How can I share my faith without an argument?
Several years ago I heard a broadcast by Bill Fay. He had an interesting way of sharing his faith, he called it “How Can I Share My Faith Without An Argument?”.
The first step was what he called the Approach. Asking 5 questions
- Do youh ave any kind of spiritual believe?
- To you, who is Jesus?
- Do you think there is a heaven and a hell?
- If you died right now where whould you go?
- If what you believed were not true, would you want to know?
The idea was in asking those 5 questions it prompted a conversation. His statement was after the last one if they said NO he just stopped. He would if you get a NO and then just stop they would respond with “Well, aren’t you going to tell me?” Very rarely will you ever get a no that sticks
It is a “faith only” approach to sharing the gospel but the lead in was unique and it was a way in with some folks.
I still wonder how folks can study Acts, and other new testament verses and not see the roll Baptism plays in salvation. just starting with the first sermon and Peter’s statement in Acts 2:38. See the salvation page.
